From a selection of red Merlot grapes, IX Prandone - Il Conte is produced in extremely limited quantities only in the best years. Its extremely deep ruby red color with garnet reflections, intense and enveloping aromas of ripe wild berries and violets, and a full-bodied flavor with ripe sour cherries and blackberries. Its structure and completeness allow IX Prandone to improve during aging in the bottle, which can last up to 50 years, and it reaches its peak quality 20-25 years after harvest.
